Sydney & Barrett Island Engagements

An engagement session is my favorite way to truly get to know a couple before their wedding day. I always encourage each couple to pick a location/activity that deeply feels like them. For some, that means taking a stroll through their neighborhood, hiking a favorite trail, stopping into their favorite wine bar, or cozying up at home. For Sydney and Barrett, who have always lived by the ocean, a session at the beach and in the water felt like the perfect way to represent their relationship. These two were down for anything, as we woke up early for morning light (and a low tide) and embraced getting wet and sandy. By the end of the session, Sydney & Barrett were new friends, and I can’t wait to see their elegant and lush wedding bring a beautiful juxtaposition to this spunky, beach engagement session!
