Katherine & David Colorful Island Backyard Wedding Weekend

When two diehard surfers get married on an island, this is what happens. Kat & David met on O’ahu, Hawai’i, so of course, odes to the island are necessary. Their celebration kicked off with an intimate North Shore rehearsal dinner in an open-air tented pavilion with their closest friends and family. On the morning of their wedding the couple did what they love most with a surf session before getting ready at Turtle Bay and a bungalow in Pūpūkea. Their ceremony, taking place in Waimānalo, was the couple’s property, which they completely transformed into the wedding space. Kat, adorned in tuberose lei and veiled, walked down the aisle to see David for the first time that day. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour under the Ko’olau mountains while sipping Gazoz’s colorful cocktails sprinkled with petals. The night carried on with vintage cameras being passed around, dancing barefoot on the checkered dance floor, and The Beach Boys playing into the night.
